Miguel Sanchez

Neurologist and Chef, he opened his own restaurant in March 1996 (L’Esguard). In November 1998 he received a Michelin star. By uniting neurosciences and culinary sciences, he created a new discipline, in 1999, “Neurogastronomy”. He has written books such as La Cocina de los Sentidos (2001), La Neurogastronomía (2006), Alimenta bien tu cerebro (2017), among others. He is currently director of the Chair of Neurogastronomy at the UAB
